Have a Blessed Merry X'mas!!
Since its X'mas...and you only tell the truth and nothing but the truth in X'mas...
So without Hope or agenda, l am going to wish everyone a very Blessed and Beautiful X'mas...Have a blissful holidays ar!! Cheers to our friendship!
And for this year, l also intends to do something a little crazy or silly...out of my comfort zone ar...Ha-Ha :-)
- I going to be more proactive in Church and volunteer more of my time….
- Am Gonne place my blessed talents to good usage...
- I am going to treat all of beloved ones much better…
- I am going to improve on my overall personality and image…a little less grouchy and a little more positive….
- I am going to learn how to sing better and learn music notes...perhaps piano lessons
- I am going to continue with my Peranakan bead weaving lessons...perhaps beaded shoes
- I am going to exercise more….Am going to use the park near my place more often… think it’s pretty good time to lose some of my extra kilos…30kilos to be precise…There’s a will, there is a way….I still wish and hope to be able to wear my old kebaya....Ha-Ha
- I am going to start greeting a very “Good morning or Good evening” to those feisty grannies around my void-deck to bless their kind souls...to see their wrinkled face breaking into smiles...Isn't life beautiful?!
- I am going to select, buy, write and give out personally a X'mas card to that special someone whom l hope to meet up soon...My own personalized courier service to that special person.....Ha-ha I know that nowadays no one send out X'mas cards to friends except for maybe some business associate...but l am still an old-fashioned gal at heart who love to write my appreciations and share my gratitude to all my dear friends especially to those guidance angels...
- The possibilities are endless……………………….Isn't life beautiful.....Cheers to all
Bertram Wee in recital at Alliance Française de Singapour_13 December 2008
I had the privilege to attend one of the finest and most talented young men called Bertram Wee, Our CG member; Wendy and Tom’s son first piano recital at Alliance Française de Singapour on last Saturday, 13 December 2008. He was painfully shy young man but when he starts to play the piano…He was literally transformed into a master weaving music out of the piano keys…Full of confidence and zest… The music was simply…how shall l put it…Full of life…the power…the zest…Imagine he is only sweet sixteen!? And he is able to play to the beautiful captivating tunes of Manuel de Falla, Sergei Prokofiev and Frederic Chopin and without looking at the scores…only pausing for a short while to take a breather before continuing his next piece…Such a breathtaking performance…
It’s simply thrilling yet at the same time delightful performance…To tell you the truth, I am simply glued to my seat… Simply moved beyond words…Actually wishing and hoping that the music never ends …Imagine that we are part of such a special occasion…his first recital and l believed its won’t be the last and am very sure that there will be many more of such performances to come…
It made me simply want to dash out after the recital to learn to play piano…
Frankly speaking, I was picturing myself playing the piano…Ha-Ha…
Perhaps Maybe l really should…Never say never correct?!
Awww…well, isn’t life all about hopes and dreams…
