X'mas decors

Took this photo after our "Twilight" movie @Vivocity during New Year day 2009...
A strange reticent feeling overwhelmed moi when l caught the sight of this gigantic X'mas tree welcoming the shoppers and movie goers in the brand new year of the ox...01 January 2009....


Isn't wonderful to be a kid again especially during X'mas time...Saw the end products of those adorable kids playing with clay at the Takashimaya_ arts and craft session at level 4...a great fan of at "Art.Friend" shop...you can find amazing stuff there...Keke

Managed to snap this X'mas carousel during the post-X'mas sales @Bugis Junction...It sort of reminds moi of winter wonderland in Disneyland USA except over here, it's Hello Singapore and Welcome to the ever Sunny weather **Sniggers**

Today is the last day of the year 2008, as l pondered by in the train ride to my company for our year end party...There's an article in the daily bread that caught my eyes this morning and l totally agreed and intend to turn to whenever l face any new challenges in this upcoming new year...Here it goes:

Chilli Crabs VS Black Pepper Crabs

We went to Eng Seng restaurant aka outdoor Kopitiam yesterday for our post-X'mas office dinner courtesy of my company.
We were treated to a feast of seafood mainly crabs...Chilli crabs,Black pepper crabs,prawns,veggies,chicken, drinks...and most importantly for arguably the best black pepper crab in Singapore. Am told that the queues for the crabs dishes would start way before 5 pm...so there we were...a total of 15 of us in two tables...we had about 13 crabs...Ha-Ha...As for me, l prefers the Black Pepper Crabs which tasted sweet and yet had a spicy aftertaste..something different from the rest of the restaurants...while the chilli crabs is only slightly hot...nothing fancy ar...The service was so-so...the place was abit small and cram...it sort of reminded me of the HongKong Teahouse where people rush in, eat and outta you go...
On the whole, I think we had a great time chilling out with our gang...letting our hairs down...a few more days before 2009...A brand new year awaits us all...
